I’m almost finished with all my exterior aesthetic mods. I may end up doing some interior ones as well, but next I’m looking into performance mods. Any suggestions?

On a side note, what would be a good exhaust to add? I drive a 2021 Platinum and want something better sounding but not really loud.

Don't buy exhaust, put money for that and the $1000 into a fund for a supercharger :D

Dirty Deeds 10" system! Nice low rumble, barely noticeable when just tooling about, but really wakes up when you get on it.
They have several options from the 10" down to straight dumps, just depends on what you want. To me "better sounding but not really loud" sounds like the 10" system.

Otherwise, there really are no "performance" mods for the Tundra short of a supercharger.

Check out this vendor. Keith can back up what he sells. Bang for your buck, this goes pretty far.

Normally I would suggest a DAP tune, but it's not available for '21.
As others have mentioned, Keith at DirtyDeeds is your best connection for a performance exhaust. He can get you the sound you want, and do it without killing low end power.

A few things that can harm performance are taller heavier tires, and adding weight in general.
Your truck came from the factory with an excellent cold air intake, don't mess with it.

Fuel delete mod Cup holder upgrade
I wouldn't call this a "performance mod" but take a look at a throttle response controller, you can get one for about ~$250. You have "Sprint Booster" and "Pedal Commander" as the two main products. Look at their features and see which applies to you best. It is hard to endorse one over the other. Not many own the SB; I have the PC on my truck but be aware that others have reported issues with this on their vehicles.

Here’s another vote for the Dirty Deeds exhaust. I love the deep rumble of the 8” system, but sometimes wish I went with the 6” system for more volume. Think I’ll try pulling off the resonator to see how it sounds without it.

Pedal commander is less than $300, and nothing short of a super charger will make a bigger difference in your normal every day driving experience. Do a search, tons of guys have them and can’t stand driving their trucks without them. And NO, “beast mode” or “tow/haul” don’t do the same thing and have an adverse effect on gas mileage.

Couple it with a Dirty Deeds exhaust, and it’s the best combo available for sub $1k.

Taking the resonator off won't make a difference in sound, as that comes from the muffler. The resonator just creates a resonance with the exhaust note to cut down on drone at steady rpms. Just don't want to see you go through the work just to find out it sounds the same.
If you want louder get in touch with Keith at DD and see about swapping your 8" system for a 6". Pretty sure he just charges shipping for that.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll probably just stick with the 8” system though. Not worth the trouble to remove, ship, re-install. It sounds pretty good as is.
