Good afternoon guys. I have a 2011 RW with 228000 miles and I have an issue. I have read through the threads I have found but havent figure my issue yet. Here is what I have so far. I have a new front diff actuator and have removed the t case actuator and it bench tests fine. There was a bad ground strap on the transmission so that was replaced. Wiring all seems fine, wheel speed sensors all read fine. So here is what I have going so far. If i unplug my 4wd dash switch and shut my truck off and restart it with the switch unplugged, my truck goes into 2wd and the 4hi and 4lo lights blink and traction control light is on. If I plug the switch in it goes into 4hi and only my 4hi light blinks and the traction control light blinks. Any assistance would.be great before I bring it to the stealership to be diagnosed.

Can you hear the transfer case actuator engaging? Are you sure it’s going in to 4wd? I think the flashing means it’s not engaging.

It is definitely in 4wd when plugged in and definitely in 2wd when unplugged and restarted. Now I'm not saying that maybe it is just the front actuator that is engaging and disengaging and the t case is always in 4wd. I guess maybe that could be the case.

Any updates here? Did your replace the front diff actuator yourself? I'm needing to test mine and am having difficulty removing it due to the location of the screws. Not sure if there's a trick for getting it off of the diff
