Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but does anyone have any recommendations for a BMC shop that is reputable in the Connecticut area?

What’s the average price one spends on a BMC? What’s a fair price?

I can't recommend a shop in your area but will say you should expect to pay $200 on the very low end to as much as $500. Try to go to some place that has experience with them on our trucks (or at least Toyota's in general). Some shops just don't like doing them, or don't have a competent welder to install the plate.

Before going with the CMC, post your setup so people can comment if you really need it or not.

    Lift height?
    Which control arms?
    Wheel width, offset?
    Tire size?

That’s probably some important information I should have shared, huh?

    • Looking at 2.5-3in of lift
    • Any ball joint UCA, don’t think I want to play around with heims
    • Currently have my eyes on the NV305 for 18s, or 703 for 17s
    • 35x12.5

I'm running 2.75" of lift, 35x12.5s on 8 wide with 50mm offset, aftermarket arms and I do not rub nor do I have the cab mount chop.

35s fit no issue with proper wheel offset and a good alignment. Ideal wheel offset is about 25mm. Icon makes wheels specifically for fitting 35s.

    I think I’ve seen many 18s at +25.

My ideal look would either be erichudgins build or joonbugs build with the 37s later on

Following. I'm in CT too and currently looking for a shop to do my ReadyLIFT 4/2 and BMC. If I can't find a shop I'll rent out a bay in a DIY garage in Colchester and do it myself. I did my Tacoma and am pretty confident I can do my Tundra too.
