Hello, we were very happy with our Rock Warrior awesome truck up until yesterday. Our trusted mechanic discovered an unbelievable amount of rust on the frame. Inside the hood every screw, every clasp, every latch ALL rusted!! ALL. I called Toyota and they said they have no idea about this. Did a little search on the net, lo and behold they paid a class action lawsuit for frame rusting problem

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. Welcome and we never like to see a problem as the reason someone joins this forum. Hope you can get that fixed somehow. Or maybe time for a new one :)

    Welcome from CO!
See if it falls under the recall for them to replace it, if you haven't already.

My Tundra is a 2010, 70000 Miles in great shape otherwise. Does not fall inder the recall. Don't know what to do. I surely won't be buying a new one which is too bad.

Welcome from Texas, Jelena! Sorry to hear about your troubles.
Pretty sure you won't that kind of trouble with the current batch of Tundras.
    What year is yours?

Welcome Jelena. Sorry to hear about your rust issue. Perhaps the recall should be expanded to cover your vehicle?

Thanks guys. I am in Illinois. I bought the truck a year old with 11000 miles on it. Maybe they will take it as a trade in. The recall does not cover my year. I will be taking it in to the dealer soon and I hope they will look out for me because we own other Toyotas. We are a Toyota family. My dad drives a Sienna and I just bought a limited edition Sienna. I really hope they won't dissapoint me

Ouch...I would definitely go as far as you can on this with Toyota corp.

    Welcome all the same!

A little of this and a little of that.
Welcome from Las Vegas!! I feel really bad about your truck! I know how I would feel if I found out my truck was falling apart because of rust. What a heartbreaker. Your truck, as far as miles, is just getting broke in.
