please help FEELS LIKE A CRASH WHEN STEPPING ON GAS!!

    IT FEELS LIKE I GET REAR-ENDED WHEN I PRESS THE GAS PEDAL FROM A FULL STOP. USUALLY HAPPENS AFTER I BRAKE HARD TO GET TO THAT STOP. IT IS A VERY POWERFUL FEELING OF AN ACCIDENT HAVING OCCURRED, BUT NONE HAS.
    IM SURE IS THE DRIVE TRAIN BUT IVE BEEN WRONG BEFORE.....

    My 2015 had a similar issue 55K in. It would jerk off the line as if I was rear ended. It turned out to be a couple tranny gears. Needed a new tranny.

    Heavy braking rotates the rear end pinion down, sticky driveshaft slip joint holds it down while stopped, and then applying torque from the engine (which rotates the pinion up) the slip joint finally pops loose all that stored energy in the wrapped leaf springs straight into your giblets

    Great explanation!!!

    With mine,I Chased down several Things. In the end, I changed the transmission fluid and added 1/2-1qt extra and that eliminated it completely. I had a 2wd so no grease fittings on the driveshaft anywhere.
