    Antigravity has made jump starter packs and motorcycle batteries for a while, but looks like they’re offering full size options now. The weight savings is interesting, but I’d be more excited if I could get more than the typical 2 years of life that I see from lead acid batteries due to extreme heat. I don’t think the $800+ price tag is worth testing the waters though. Anyone else heard of these or thinking about trying one?

    That’s kinda cool. Neat to see battery tech advancing.

    It’s got a long way to go, to be an option up here. From the manual-

    This product is designed to work in ambient temperatures between -5°C to 60°C (23°F to 140°F). For best performance do not operate outside of temperature ranges. Do not jump-start a frozen battery. Do not charge a frozen battery. Only charge within the range of 0°C to 45°C (33°F to 113°F). Discontinue use of product immediately if the battery becomes excessively warm.
