    2007 Tundra Extra Cab TRD
    Greetings,

just bought my new to me 2007 Extra Cab TRD Tundra. Had a 2004 Xcab Tundra for many years and can't believe the size difference! My old truck also had a V8, but I'm pretty sure it got much better gas milage than this beast. The knobby Firestone tires on the new truck probably contribute to the reduced gas milage. Been doing a lot of clean up on the truck but getting there. Not gonna go crazy on modding it, but will have to make it my own. Looking forward to spending some time here and sharing info.

    Cheers

Had to clean her up a bit before posting a pic. Been detailing the engine bay for two days straight and still not done. Will also post a pic of that once I'm satisfied with the results. There was some real hard water/soap scum clinging to everything in the engine bay that was pretty hard to remove. It wouldn't just rinse off with degreaser and soapy water. I actually had to use buffing compound on the painted areas to get rid of most of it, but man, the results are so worth it. The engine bay is starting to look like the day it rolled off the showroom floor.
