    EDIT: Towing* mirror

I tried searching, but didn't come up with anything. If someone has seen this issue, please let me know!

I bought and installed the power fold Toyota towing mirrors a few years ago. I did the wiring and install myself. Yesterday, with the recent snow and bitter cold temps, the driver's side mirror was struggling to move out (have to fold them in so the truck fits in the garage). No big deal as this has happened before. So I gently manually pushed the mirror into place.

I thought I'd park it back in the garage but now the mirror is moving in the wrong direction! It moves to the front of the truck instead of back against the door. Has anyone seen this (youtube, other forums, personally) and know of a fix?

I got the mirror mostly back to a usable position and won't be able to move the truck inside. The temps for the next 10 days will struggle to reach double digits so I may be stuck with this for a few weeks. I don't want to attempt to pull plastic bits off in this cold weather.

    TIA!
