I believe the only Long Tubes made for our trucks are JBA. @FrenchToasty is working on this.

I thought DT made some but I couldn’t find any.
@ajmorenoaz yeah JBA is going to be your best option for long tubes, Kieth is a good source for info, give him a call. But not sure what tunes are available for our trucks, I think a guy on here from NM came to PHX for either a OV tune or maybe Vivid?

Did he have the unichip and had them dial it in on their dyno, or was it a different piggyback application

Talked with DD a few weeks ago asking about Short Tubes and he talked me out of them as nothing was wrong with my exhaust currently. He says the OEM keeps the torque vs shorties.

He did say the Long Tubes were the way to go and offered, but my total system is in good shape and will consider them more miles down the road. He understood. I let him know his 12 Port Denso Injectors are shweettt!

A few guys had weird changes in gas mileage with the 2-2-1 tri-y design. Most notably Highway Lizard on TS said his truck never ran right with them.

Stock height/tires or lifted/bigger tires? If lifted re-gearing will make a massive difference in drivability.

He's gonna tell you to get the JBA long tubes and buy his exhaust.

The headers are what really matters, I don't think you have smog tests in AZ so go for them. Exhaust from the header back can be whatever, stock piping isn't restrictive.

Yeah I had mine tuned. I only have the UniChip piggyback.

Performance mods I ran at the time of tuning were JBA shorties, CGS catback, K&N cai tube with the AEM dryflow filter, and the DirtyDeeds injectors.

The dotted lines are before while the solid lines are after the tune. The pink line is the K&N filter and the orange line is the AEM filter (Which also filters the air better than the k&n)

Keep in mind my engine will make a little more stock than a 00-04 since it's an 05 with the VVTi.

My major performance mod I have planned now is a procharger, but that's gonna be a while. I believe stock 2uz's can take like 5psi safely but much more is asking for trouble.

I saw a guy on a facebook group that's running 8psi on a procharger setup for his 06 Sequoia.

I know DirtyDeeds is running a turbo on his truck and the stock closed loop efi on our trucks makes a custom tune relatively unnecessary.

I made a trip to Prescott AZ and had it tuned at the Xact Dyno shop. I don't remember the guys name but he was really cool.

I have the JBA long tubes and the ddi 12 hole injectors. Certainly a noticeable increase in performance.
