In December 2020 I ended up getting Falken Wildpeaks 315 70 r17. And Icon Rebounds 17x8.5.

Looking at the wheel from the inside there's really not much room around the rotor and caliper.

Since I've had them on, I've had to take it in four times to have the tires rebalanced. Also when they do, there's always a ticking sounds when I leave. So I have to take it back. Ended up being the balancing strip hitting the caliper. This was at the dealer and a tire store.

Anyone else have this issue with this tire and wheel setup?

I know Icon did a test video with the same wheels and tires. Don't know of any issues they ran into.

tire shop needs to know what they are doing. Couple guys here had similar issue. Had to do with placement of weights.
But yeah tundra calipers are big.

I have the exact same thing. Bring it to a good tire shop. And give them a heads up about the caliper. Mine clears by like less than a 1/4”. Never had a problem

Thanks for the information. I just remember the first time it happened the dealer messed up the oil change too and got oil everywhere. Took it back in about a minute of leaving for the ticking.

I was starting to think I made a mistake getting them after today's issue. About to head out for a 2 hour drive to pick up a bumper. Last thing I need is for the straps to start hitting again.
