Off roading in 4 hi

I got a question I’m a semi new tundra owner so today I went to the snow and I was in 4hi and I got stuck because I would lose power even tho I press the traction button and it said auto lsd, do I have to press it twice and untill traction control is off and then go to 4wd hi? Was kinda emabarrasing lol

 

Yes, you need to press the traction control button 2 times to get full power without nannies kicking in

 

Press and hold for like 3 seconds and a bunch of lights come on, let go and press and hold for another 3 seconds and it's fully disabled. There's three levels of "off". Single press, single hold, double hold.

 

Long are the days of manual locking hubs with a manual transfer case.
