Hey folks, have a 2018 tundra CM. Currently have factory BFGood KO2s in LT285/55/20

I really like the stance of my truck, but definitely want a highway tire. Im pretty convinced on the Mich defender LTX M/S. They have a solid reputation here and other places. Im new to the truck world and would like some help making sure I get a good size. I referenced the 'max tire size' sticky and it says 275/55/20. Which is interesting because currently I have 285..?

Nevertheless, Im thinking of getting 275/60/20 in the Defenders. These are little taller and have more side wall than the 55s.

Am I missing anything here? My goal is to try to maintain the same stance with the Defenders compared to the KO2s. The 55s Defenders are a slightly smaller tire than the 60s, yes? Any advice or thoughts on this size tire is appreciated. Should I be looking at 285..?

    Thanks for the help

You should be fine with that size. Your truck will fit 33 inch wheels with stock suspension as long as the wheel offset is not too crazy. So what you are considering is 33 tall and just under 11 inches wide- no problem. I am running 18 inch wheels, 33.3 tall and same width as what you are looking at on the stock +60 wheels, no rubbing or issues of any kind.
