Hey guys new to the world of lifts. I've been researching putting a small spacer/block lift on my truck. How important is brand? Seems like it's just a hunk of metal. I have narrowed down my search to BDS, Zone, Rough Country, and Rugged. So if brand is important which should I go with? Thanks for the help in advance.

This is not the answer that you want.

I’m not sure what your model truck has stock and I don’t know what uses you plan for it but regardless, there’s no situation where a spacer/block lift won’t be detrimental to the truck, Either the ride or the durability of associated components will suffer, (or both). Acceptable for a mall queen, if the image that goes with a “lifted” truck is what you’re after

^^ Yes, just have to think about how you will be using the truck. Lots of guys I’ve seen are running the ready lift spacers with no problems.

I have the readylift sat pro plus 2. Love it, rides like stock.

    Alot of them
I had the Readylift 3/2 and it rode rough as hell. I would spend a little more and at least move up to the Bilstein 5100's.

The brand does not matter. Currently have 61000 miles with a block and I tow regularly, no issues.

Try the Low Range Offroad kit. It's the only kit that has bumostop spacers. As long as your bumpstops work you shouldn't blow out any struts when you bottom out.

Second the 5100s and consider using shackles vice block in the rear.
