I need a lot of light to use images like these. With these images I cant seem to focus like I would need to. Close up shots would be helpful. I will say the rear end looks pretty rusty though. And I see a shinyness in the third image, (the chassis rail), that would make me wonder. Maybe it s the camera angle. Just not sure.

I’ve seen worse on this site but with 180k miles at that price that’s a lot more rust than I would want. Steering rack looks like the boot is wet, might be seeping. I’ve seen people on here fix worse rust but depending on where you are that price seems high. I bought my 04 with 96k on it for the same price. No rust.

    Just from a quick look:

    1) Frame looks wet due to rain so hard to get a good look.

    2) Muffler is chopped off under bed.

    3) Parking Brake Cable looks seized.

    4) Rear Diff Bung looks crusty.

Conclusion: Truck has some surface rust and some other problems. Rust doesn’t look like a deal killer, but need better pics up inside the c-Frame and just in front of the rear wheels frame area.

It’s definitely going to need work to keep the rust from getting worse but at least it’s not severe. $10k seems like a high price to pay though as others have said. I say keep looking unless that’s the best you’ve come across in your area and you really want a Tundra. Plan on getting a new/rebuilt steering rack. Unless the bellows dry up, you’re going to need a replacement.

I also don’t see a tailpipe on that muffler there.

Cant really add much to what's been stated, but the price seems a little high for the mileage. The rust isn't anything that would deter me from purchasing, at a lower price. It will definitely need some attention with cleaning/painting/rust prevention.
Like PHM stated, parking brake cable needs a look, exhaust system is questionable. Lots of little things that will either take your time to fix, or your money for someone else to fix.

Check all the frame pockets, especially around the rear wheels. Over time, crap gets thrown in and stays wet against the frame. Rust loves to hide...

Dead stock with oem 16" starfish wheels. We'll see how long that lasts. :) Topper of unknown origin.
The rust is less of a concern than the wet rack (deferred maintenance) and the hacked tail pipe (what else has been hacked?). As has been said, a $10K truck doesn't raise those flags because it's ready for continued use w/out a list of repairs needed.
