Maybe someone can shed some light on my problem. 2017 tundra with standard HVAC (3 knob). Sometimes when starting truck, temp setting to full hot, a/c light will be on and cannot turn off. Tried turning blower off and back on, a/c light still on. Played with temp control, no dice. It is blowing cold air too. Only way I’ve found to correct issue is too shut truck off and restart and it will be fine again. Bad thing is it’s intermittent. So I can’t pin point what could cause this. Wondering if anyone has heard of this?

There is an instance or series if buttons I came across that basically freeze it on if I turn off the truck with the settings as such (no I cannot recall).

BTW its not blowing hot because the engines not warm yet, compressor on isnt causing the air to be cold. Have you noticed that defrost defaults and always runs compressor on? Has to do with removing moisture.

It will have this problem no matter what setting it’s in, floor, vents, etc. Engine at full operating temp. Still blow cold air. Like I said, if I shut truck down, restart or just turn key on, everything works as should. Thought it may be the control panel. Then I read somewhere that there is a HVAC module that when it goes bad it can cause some screwy issues.
