I don't have a lift at the shop so it's difficult getting real good pics of the under side of the truck. This is the best I have for now.

Looks good. How many pieces and what's the price for the entire set?

    It's 6 pieces.
2 for the front Engine/front diff
    1 for the trans
    1 for the transfer case
    2 for the fuel tank

The 2 engine pieces bolt together
The 2 fuel pieces bolt together
The transfer case and front fuel tank bolt together.

Everything overlaps from front to back like shingles so you'll slide from plate to plate without a lip to catch.

Ballpark $1000 shipped to a commercial address or terminal bare steel. Still waiting on dollars and required volume back from my powder coater to get that number. I know what he charged for 1 set.

I'm pretty close to numbers on shock skids too. ball parking $175-ish shipped and powder coated. Those will all come powder coated.

Anyone local to central Indiana feel free to PM me or hit me up on Facebook. You're more than welcome to stop by the house or we could meet up for a beer and check the bumpers and skids out.

@mac11, I'm assuming you guys have this designed in CAD/3D? If so, would it be hard to just.. cut it in half height-wise? Haha. I don't need the winch mounting capability and I can relocate my license plate elsewhere.

@mac11 is out of town atm, so I'm not sure when he'll be able to respond. They run production units off a jig, so i'm not sure how plausible just cutting it in half would be. Sure they could do it, but without some one(say me) for instance dropping my truck off for test fitting i'm not sure how they would go about actually building it.

Also if you look at the pics of the inside of the bumper posted, you'll see that it's loaded with support features and the brackets themselves would have to be modified.

Like @MidwestOverlanders said we do have the parts modeled in cad so I can cut them on our CNC, but that doesn't make it possible to make wholesale changes and reconfiguration at the push of a button.

Deleting the winch plate is not a big deal but what you're asking for its a completely different bumper.

We would be willing to make that for you if you can drop the truck off at the shop.

Hi @mac11 , I didn't realize there was a thread on these bumpers here until today. I literally have been scouring the internet for just this type of bumper for my truck. I eventually landed on your website, and was pricing out the options, and have a couple of questions for you, if I may?

1- Can the driver's side swing arm be modified to NOT hold a high lift jack, but instead set up to hold an additional jerry can? (Not sure about the space, looking at the photos)

2- What are the advantages/disadvantages to choosing steel vs. aluminum? My guess is weight vs. strength, anything else to consider?

3- Does this come with any kind of locking mechanism to lock your spare/gas cans, or just rig something?

4- Shipping to an Alaska residence an option, since you mentioned CONUS?

Thanks for your time and feedback on the matter.

If you offroad, or just value being safe in the case if getting rear-ended, I'd get the steel.

If you like to live life dangerously, value MPG more, and don't care if your truck gets totaled in the case of being rear-ended, get the aluminum.

Though, the thicker the aluminum sheeting used, the better it obviously is overall. Keep in mind, too, that steel is easier to repair (eg. bending back into shape).

Thanks for the feedback, sir. About in line with what I was thinking in that regards. PS, I LOVE your truck. I've seen your photos even before I joined this forum.

No, The length of the swing arm is only long enough for what is on there. A jerry can is wider than the highlift so there just isn't space to make that substitution. The only way we could get you ~15 gallons of capacity using (4) 4 gallon rotopax and 2 of the double mounts..

The main thing is strength vs. weight. You also can get some aesthetic pleasure out of a bare aluminum part if you're into that sort of thing.. But we do up the material thickness on the AL parts to get some of that strength back and still have a substantial weight savings. It's really about where and how you're going to use it. I've seen more than 1 manufacturer showing off how well their AL bumpers did in a crash. I'm not going to say how any material will do in a crash as there are really too many variables to be able to make those kinds of promises.

There are slots in everything to use a cam lock type cinch strap to hold everything in.

It would also be possible to make them with a locking snap like this:

We can ship anywhere but will need to quote locations outside the CONUS. Cost is highly variable going off the mainland and to other countries.
