After market tail lights

Looking for some after market LED or fiber optic tail lights to match the PRO head lights. Clear lens, black housing. Found a bunch on Amazon, eBay, Car ID, etc...some cheap, some expensive. I’m sure they are all made in China. Just wondering if any one has had luck with a particular brand? Post pics if you can. Thanks!

 

I tend to see the WinJet model floating around alot. I went with a smoked OEM taillight and changed most of the bulbs to LED. Spent less than a usual LED set. Good luck!

 

Win Jet had a lot of issues, just do your research.

 

Most aftermarket lights have problems. They’re all Chinese made with cheap components. I’ve also seen multiple issues of aftermarket lights causing brake errors in newer trucks. Mostly due to Toyota changing wiring around from a previous year and foreign vendors aren’t keeping up with the changes. So fuses start popping. Your best bet is to just swap in leds to your factory housing.

 

Yeah, already swapped out all of the bulbs to LEDs. Just going for a better look than a big old red light on an all green and black truck! I’ve had after markets before...usually a condensation problem. Was just hoping someone had a great experience with a certain brand! I’ll keep looking!

 

Morimoto is suppose to be coming out with new tail lights. I would wait and see what they do. Their reputation has been good and a lot of folks recommend their products.

You can look at headlight revolution and see what they have.

 

Did a lot of research today...Went to Headlight Revolution and ordered Alpha Rex jet black tail lights. Good reviews, 2 year warranty . Super excited. I’ll post pics when they arrive!
