I've been looking at removing all the chrome from my 2018 Crew Max. I reached out to Sparks Parts for some help with costs. See below for the links that he provided me. Not sure if anyone out there has better pricing, but I see a lot of people are in the same boat with deleting the chrome. Hopefully this will help.

Just curious why all the fuss, just looks? Does chrome affect performance? Nope, in fact it might help reflect a lidar tag beam, not sure. Isn't it easier to remove the bug splatter? I think so, and more durable for harsh chemical removal too. So, I guess it must be a looks thing. Okay then. Have fun! I will spend it on gasoline to go places.

@2mchfun To each their own! It is a "looks thing".

If you plan on keeping the grille insert you can get a color matched grille surround, bulge cover, and bumper caps from Bumpershellz for much cheaper. @EC1 can elaborate.

Check the following website. Sparks seems to have more specialty stuff, but I've found McGeorge to be very competitive with Sparks and they have free shipping when using the FREESHIP code at checkout:

Thanks I asked the guy at Sparks Parts if there were any discounts available if all of these components were purchased. He said that they do not have any season discount codes and to use "Ship25" at checkout. Which i am guessing it would be a code for free shipping. I will have to look at McGeorge as well.

I wonder if that's 25% off shipping? Also, I just bought a front sway bar from Sparks and asked for the "Tundras.com" discount and they applied 5%.

I blacked out mine for looks...but it only cost me about $300cad to do the entire front, including bumper ends.

I'm not a fan of chromed plastic.

Bumpershellz and DIY Spray On Bed Liner with a used Surroung and Bulge I picked up on Kijiji (craiglist). I went BLACK as I didn't want color match anyways and it's not the TRD insert (I didn't want to mess around with sensors and I don't have a TRD, so didn't want to go that route)

It's holding strong, not a single chip...

I had to text to communicate with "someone" at Sparks - never got a name. It took several hours before I got my first text reply. Like my TRD Pro coil-overs, I thought a VIN was needed for my TRD Pro rear shocks so I ordered from Sparks via E-bay. E-bay showed Sparks had (8) but I got a message the very next morning where Sparks had cancelled my order stating they did not have any in stock (I was pissed). They texted saying it's best to order directly from SparksParts.com for easiest ordering and to get the most accurate inventory. I complained (by text) and asked if I could call, and they said yes, but are extremely busy and texting was the best way. Long story, but I ordered my rear shocks from McGeorge.
Man, I can't believe they asked for all that information from you. I did not get any of those problems/demands, but my total order amounts have been less than yours. I did create an on-line account and have ordered several times, but don't know if that matters. Agree, there are definitely times like yours when you need to speak to a human. Sparks needs to fix this problem or continue to lose business to McGeorge and others.

Talked to a human about 1 minute after posting that. He said it flagged because my IP address pinged out of Calgary but shipping was for Maine. My employer is based in Canadia eh', that's what I get for ordering truck parts on my work laptop during my lunch break. Crisis averted.
Asked him how long to paint everything, expecting a month or so, and he said they ship directly from the factory painted and should be sent within a couple of days.. We'll see. But that got me SUPER stoked because I am impatient as all hell.

Maybe its not the same part, but the aftermarkets I ordered from K-Metal were more of a gray plastic and not black like the valence. These cost about $100 each and had a local shop paint them for $80 each.

Ordered the surround and bulge from sparks already painted and OEM resin front bumper replacements for $124 each, had the front and rear bumpers painted at a local collision center for $419 (so $209.50 per set). Rears were steel aftermarket OEM replacements. I thought the ‘shellz’ were silly and just opted to remove and replace all the chrome instead of cover it up.
