TRD intake and dual cat back exhaust
Installed the TRD intake and dual cat back exhaust on my 2020 today. The installation couldn't have been easier. I have a 3" Toytec lift on and it gave plenty of room to lay under the truck in the driveway to put the exhaust in. No lifts. No jacks. The intake took maybe 25 minutes and the exhaust took about an hour and thats including time lighting up a cigar and enjoying it for a few.

The intake install: There were 3 pieces that coupled together that go from the intake to the motor. The 3rd piece or the "elbow", has a super tight fit. I had to make sure the tongue of this piece lined up with the groove in the 2nd piece first, because once it was on, it wouldn't twist. That was the only slight difficulty with this.

Removing the old exhaust: I wrapped a bungie cord around the pipes near the cats of the stock system to keep it from completely dropping once I took out the bolts and took it off the hangers. The tail pipe was clamped to the muffler and supported by one hanger and came off easy enough. (Tip: use a little soap around the grommets to get them off easier. I learned that after a bloody knuckle.)

Installing the new exhaust: The only thing I had to do was drop the spare from under the bed to make room for the driver side tail pipe to slide back into place. I didn't need to completely pull the spare out from underneath. (Tip: leave the bubble wrap on the exhaust tips to keep them from getting scuffed up when installing. Yes, I left mine on. I didn't learn the hard way). Also, there was one extra hanger to install using a hole that was already milled.

This isn't a step by step install guide. The reason for this post is I've seen people paying WAY too much for labor on these things. Someone here said the dealership claimed there was "a bunch of new hangers to put in" when installing the exhaust and that's why the labor was $400+. There was ONE new hanger to install with one nut and bolt in a pre milled hole on the truck. It took all of a minute and a half to put it in. The rest of the system used the existing hangers and grommets. There was also some new hardware and a couple gaskets.

I just wanted to share the things I experienced to hopefully make it that much easier for people and save them a ton of money.
