My bluetooth isn't working. I checked Toyota website for driver support, but my year isn't supported. Is there a way to find radio driver support, or a method to factory reset the radio? Its not a navi system.

    Thanks in advance,
    Jay

There's this, just to cover that base:
    https://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/omnav-s/OMTADG0467D/pdf/T-ADG-0467-D.pdf

I also believe that there's a way to actually turn off the Bluetooth radio (I didn't see that in the linked .PDF though), but I'd have to go out and play around with my radio in order to share how to navigate to that setting in order to be sure that the previous owner (an assumption) didn't do so. I'll see if I can remember to do that tomorrow.

Hey!! Thanks so much for the info! I'll check it out. I appreciate the offer to check your truck. No need to make yours wonky in the process if there's a risk.

    Much appreciated!!

Sorry it took me so long to get to this, I haven't been driving the truck much since the virus.

Anyway, today I poked around and finally found the Bluetooth Power setting:
    • Press the Phone button on the left side of the steering wheel that shows the receiver being removed (the lower half of the button).
    • This should take you into the Phone Setup menu, if this isn't the first selection, rotate the smaller/lower round knob of the face of the radio until you see it. Then press the knob to select Setup.
    • Again rotate the smaller knob until you see Phone Setup, press.
    • Rotate until you see Hands Free (or HF) Power
    • At that point, if memory serves, you can implement rotate/press to turn the functionality on/off.
    • Press the Hangup button to exit.

Thank you!! Yes, the virus has been a royal pain!

Thanks for making the effort. I will try your solution tomorrow.

    Stay safe!

Well, I was finally able to attempt your instruction. Unfortunately it didn't work. There's no enunciation and nothing is recognized by my phone Bluetooth or vice-versa.

    Truly appreciate your help!
    Stay well,
    J

Absolutely! I appreciate your effort. Just weird that nothing is recognized. Fun how programming just stops working.‍♂️

When I was trying to collect the information, I recall that I still had to try three or four times to get the devices to recognize each other and eventually pair. :annoyed:

I'll keep trying. Sounds fickle. Did you still receive verbal prompts?

I navigated via the Select knob on the radio itself, I don't have the patience for the voice prompts. :D
