    None of the YouTube videos shows the same hardness I received. I have the premium camera. On the connecting cable that goes through my firewall and connects to my camera, there is a red/black wire that is long. The other videos show only a red pigtail wire. I know the black goes to ground in the engine bay but what do I do with this red wire?

    Red should be power, but you'll want to put a fuse inline if it doesn't have one

    If the red is hooked up on the other end, leave this end unhooked. It gets power from one end or the other, not both.
    On mine, the black was already grounded (according to my ohmmeter), but attaching it to ground shouldn’t hurt anything.

    The plug should be carrying the power.
    If I remember correctly, you can clip the red wire.

    @TundraTex would know.

    Not sure why but these kits seem to come with different harnesses. I installed mine following the video that @2020Platinum posted and my harness was a little different than his. :notsure:

    Depends on the camera you get. The “premium” camera (a Natika camera) from the AnytimeCamera.com site comes with a 4-pin connector on one end, a power “adapter” inline with the cable, and an RCA Jack with a red wire pigtail for behind the head unit. I’ve got a Natika I got off Amazon for another car and it is the exact same setup.
