    Hello everyone
New member, but not new to this site!

I've done some searching and have found i have slight different approach which prompted me to create an account.

I have a 2015 limited cm 4x4 which came with flares already mounted.

I bought some 2" bora spacers to bring the wheels flush with the flares.

Its finally time for new tires and I plan to go bigger. I'm planning on staying on a budget and getting the 5100 boss 3/1 kit.

I understand I'll need the BMC and bumper mods.. but in my situation keeping the factory wheels and 2" spacers, will I need any extra mods to clear 34.5 or 35s?

    I believe @Ckatz53 had a similar setup?

Thanks in advance for any help! Attached a picture of the truck in its current state.

    -Joe

Welcome. I'm sitting on a 3/1 Radflo 2.5 and a Toytec shock/shackle setup with JBA upper controls, a BMC, 2" Boras on stocker 18s, 35x12.5s, and high clearance bumpers. Before the bumpers, I had to remove the mud flaps and do some plastic heat forming for the fronts (heat it up and form it over the body mount and frame). Other than that, you should be in good shape.

    Welcome from Florida,
Ditto what CKatz said, you can most likely avoid the BMC. I had to push the front fender lines forward (easy) to clear on full lock with 34.5s on my 3/1 with spacers but seem to have plenty of room now.

    @Team4M Thanks for the reply!

I'm running 'factory' sized KO2s right now at 275/55r20 with NO lift at all.. and just with the eyeball test it seemed super tight with the 2" spacers.

I suppose the lift helps quite a bit, but the 2" spacers change the range of the new tires.

Its a daily driver, so if something doesn't fit it can't be down too much longer than a weekend ...

I just dont want to kick myself after ordering tires and it not fit because of the spacers. You know how it goes..

It just seemed a little different because not many people run the 2" on factory rims to my knowledge (at least what I can find).

    true.
I’m running spidertrax and I believe they are 1 1/2”... and yes, the lift makes a world of difference.
I ended up going with billstein 6112s but the 5100s should have the same ride height. Good luck!

Cool! I was at USA in the 90s. When were you there? And are you still in Bham? Your truck pic looks like it could have been taken around there.

My wife and I discovered Cheaha and Lake Martin last Fall. We'll be back! I might even buy a lake house on the south end of Lake Martin! I understand AirBNB'ing it will basically pay the whole mortgage on it!

Haha maybe... those property values have skyrocketed in the past couple of years! I was watching a lot, it tripled in price, and decided to go another route!! Cheaha is nice, has a few "trails" aka forestry roads, but the scenery is nice for Alabama.
