Upgrade Back-up lamps

I know my '08 uses 921 bulbs for the back-up lights. Without going to LED's, is there a better lamp to get more light output other than the 921ST Silver Star? I also do not want/need to go with Aux lights, just want increase the light output from the existing fixtures.

 

Why not go with LEDs? Vleds has awesome quality.

 

+1 for LED for reverse lighting. I went with the JDMs from Amazon.

Jdm astar 921s worked fantastic until I did aux reverse lights.

 

LEDs are plug and play.
Why not just use a decent LED bulb?

I have read reports of random electrical glitches or interference with the back-up camera system cause by LED lighting and don't want to go down that road. Just looking for the simplest upgrade lamps that will fit with no modifications.

 

I’ve been running @Headlight Revolution reverse bulbs (LED) for about 50,000 miles now and I absolutely love them. No glitches whatsoever and they are amazingly bright.

Tough to argue with GTR Lighting Ultra series LED Reverse lights. This was taken at midnight, only lights on are the rear running lights (Red) + Reverse Lights. LED destroys all.

Yep. I have Vleds reverse lights, their LPR system, and a set of Rigid flush mounts on my 2020.
