Hey guys, new to the site. Having trouble identifying a breather hose on my 06 tundra dc 4x4. I have 3 breathers on my drivers side wheel well. One of them is not attached to anything currently and I can’t for the life of me figure out where it goes.

In the picture the red is a larger diameter and goes to the front diff, the yellow is smaller and goes to the ADD actuator. The mystery blue breather is also smaller diameter and is not attached to anything currently. It’s rather short as it ends at the top of the cv axle currently, so I’m not sure if it got cut or something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

On the 2002 with 4WD, the set up is Red on top (for front diff) and Yellow on bottom (for actuator). There is no third breather (Blue) on mine.

There is one other hidden breather between the firewall and starter in the engine bay (for Transfer Case).

Under the truck there is another hidden breather on top of the Transmission near the rear (screwed in on top is seems).

Thank you for that response. I was able to locate the transfer case breather between the firewall and starter, I actually have two breathers there. Couldn’t trace the second one but I believe it went to the transmission. Still a mystery where the third wheel
well breather goes. I’m wondering if doesn’t belong there, but somewhere else on the truck?

Thats the mystery. The Yellow Circled one with the frayed jacket looks like mine thats located in your Blue Position on the clip.

Per the other breathers: I think the 04-06 Transmissions change had them run the plugged breather, from on top, up next to and with the Transfer Breather.
