I’m kinda interested in this truck...but it’s so far away from me (I’m in N.C., it’s in Kansas). I’m hesitant on buying something sight unseen. Carfax shows no accidents and good dealerships service history but only up until 65k (it’s at 107k). I know it’s a long shot, but I’m hoping to get some more information about the truck. Suggestions are appreciated!F9C7B869-6C42-4F28-83C3-B74BA0B7D011.jpg

A new 1794 4WD? I was offered $34k trade for my 18 SR5 4WD just last week by several local dealers.

I think the price is fair? Of course I would try and work them down a little bit, but a new one would be 20k more.
The mileage doesn’t bother me ( I’m a mechanic by trade, actually worked for a Toyota dealership for a few years).
I’m only searching for a blue, brown, red, crewmax, 4x4, Platinum or 1794 (A/C seats), 2010-?, 35k max.
No accidents and a southern vehicle.
I know it might take a while to find what I am looking for, but I’m ok with that. Hence why I am looking so far away as well.

the ventilated seats suck, don’t let that be the only reason for your choice

If you have a Toyota dealership you like, they can create a search for you and find any truck that is in the Toyota system that meets those parameters. If they don't have a truck yet it will notify them once one does meet your parameters and they can let you know. Easier than you trying to do everything.
    Good luck!

I’ve heard that before... I haven’t tried them in a Tundra yet, but I’m assuming they have to help somewhat? I guess I should go and test drive one to make a real observation.
I currently have a 2008 Expedition with A/C seats, they are nothing that you can really feel with just your hand coming through the seat, but it definitely makes a difference then when they are on.

That’s where I purchased my Tundra from and use their lifetime oil changes to keep their lifetime engine and power train warranty. In your opinion is it worth it to go there to keep this dealer warranty?

All of that stuff has started since I worked there so I don’t really know how it works on the “inside”?
I would stick with it though because a loyal customer can wreak some benefits...I have seen certain situations where something might be just out of warranty, but because the customer has been loyal, the dealership will help them out as much as possible! I know a lot of people are quick to bash the dealership, and I can see why to a point sometimes, but I have worked at Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Caterpillar ones, as well as a handful of independent repair shops. I have always had good experiences working at the dealership. Geez, I’ve been “wrenching” for 25 years now!

What? A new 1794 with those exact mods and you are looking at close to $65,000.
