It needs to be Friday...afternoon. I am done with this week.

 

Was told we are SOL for power until late Saturday. Sheesh. The predictions of big storms are always busts and the “maybe some gusts of wind tonight” predictions are way off...

Oh well...just sitting in my Tundra generator recharging every battery powered device while staring at my work emails.

 

P. S. Still flipping on light switches when I walk into a room. Prob easier to stop breathing than break that habit

 

I hope they get your power on ahead of schedule. Then again, it's nice to live simple for a while. It's like involuntary camping.

I still get dizzy thinking about that elevator ride... Was pretty young, but still not a fan of heights. It's a cool and iconic building, though.

 

I might be broken because I love heights, lol. It took my kids some convincing to walk out on the rotating glass.

 

Just different strokes for different folks is all. I hate heights but I love to fly. Wanted to be a pilot. I've heard that a fear of heights isn't uncommon in pilots though. Not sure if it's true for everyone, but it is for me!

I'm more of an introvert so my dreams were more along the lines of working for NOAA.

 

One of the guys at my church who teaches metrology at a local community college apparently doesn't understand wind chill...

 

Good God man, my young kids could probably fully understand wind chill in a minute tops.

 

Something about how he didn't believe in it or it's misleading or something. I didn't feel like trying to explain heat transfer to him in the brief time we had to chat.

 

I got so pissed at my weather apps the past few months I deleted them. I'm not going to even bother this year. The wife can tell me what to pack or wear. I've got a weather radar app on my iPad that I'll look at if I need to go outside soon, but other than that I'm just going to revert to "You got a window? Open it" strategy.

There's another career where you can be wrong and useless all the time and still keep your job. We cannot discuss what they do here without getting the ban hammer though.

You should try the app "WTForecast". It adds humor even if it's not 100% accurate.

Congratulations on the truck! Beautiful color, and the chrome pops nicely on it. What package and trim is it? I don't recognize the grille off the top of my head.

Honestly, not sure I can say that I've ever seen more than a snippet or two of his stuff. I did laugh, but can't remember anything but the Tater Salad bit and "you can't fix stupid" from him.

If you highlight the part you want to quote it will give a pop up option. Then just write below the /QUOTE brackets like @Green Thunder said.

 

Ah, that would explain why I don't recognize it. Everyone is always on about the honeycomb and the Pro grilles, so those I know well.

What all does the Trail edition come with? I know about the boxes in the bed, but I'm not sure what else is in that package.
