So, before I get lynched, I have searched the forums a bit about exhausts lol I was wondering if anyone has a BAM 8 inch ( I think that's what it is? ) or a Carven TR for these new trucks?

Looking for some growl, deep sounding, no drone. Hoping to keep it budget friendly if possible, just bought the truck so a $1k system is not ideal.

Anyone that has a Carven TR do you notice drone on the highway?

    What about the BAM?

Will probably just swap mufflers. Are any Y pipes needed for single outlet? Thanks guys. Super new, trying to learn this stuff.

There is a 10" and an 8" for sale in the Marketplace right now. You could ask those guys.

I have the Carvin......love it but you will have a drone @ 1700 rpm to about 2000 rpm....you can add a Helmholtz to it to quiet it down, have heard good things about the 8" bam...just never used one. Both are within a couple hundred bucks if you need to do the Helmholtz.

Anytime you remove the stock muffler you’re also removing the quarter wave resonator built into it.

unless you replace the 1/4 with something else that specifically cancels out the drone, you have drone. No matter what you hear in internet testimonials or corporate advertising.

Bamufflers not only has several Choices for levels of overall sound, we also specifically address the drone in our trucks, and the low end torque loss experienced in every single aftermarket exhaust offered for a tundra.

With prices comparable to the big brands, but again, we address drone and low end torque loss: it’s worth a phone call to figure out the perfect system for your truck.

I looked for awhile...bought a BAMUFFLER 10 inch, it checks all the boxes except drone!

I have the Carven with Keith's resonator.

    Go with the @dirtydeeds exhaust.

Was going to post the same answer. Highway drone will give you a headache after a couple hours, but it sounds like a beast.

We have a lifetime warranty on sound. Send it back and we will exchange it for something quieter, for free. 760-877-4234

There’s no need to deal with drone. Our systems not do not drone, they also gain low end torque instead of losing it. Call for details. Www.dirtydeedsindustries@gmail.com

I hardly tow enough to justify getting a quieter system. I love the sound of the 8 in.
