Tires are noticeably louder after rotation and balance

So I had my tires balanced and rotated last week (before I personally changed my driver side hub/bearing assembly). The tires are noticeably louder and definitely cupped on the front. (See picture) I don’t know what order they rotated the tires in, I’m assuming front to back because I didn’t notice the noise before. Last year I replaced the factory rear shocks at 110,000 miles with skyjacker blackmaxs. Assuming these tires were cupping while on the back, other than worn shocks, what could be causing the cupping? I have Falken Wildpeak AT3 275/70/18s with about 30,000 miles on them

 

Looks like there over-sized tires, what pressures do you run?

 

My understanding cupping is usually an alignment issue, of course rear is not adjustable. How many miles has it been since tires were last rotated? I do believe that 5,000 mile rotation is almost necessary to help curb cupping.

I also think A/T tires are more prone to odd wear characteristics. My A/T Michelins with 3,500 miles looked to me like they were wearing uneven, so took it to the dealer they checked alignment and was in speck. That said alignment could certainly be better but there not going to do free alignment when in speck.

 

If they criss-crossed the tires when rotating, they are going to make more noise in the short run. The tread on each tire is now running in the reverse direction and it takes a while for them to even out. I had my Dick Cepek's rotated after about 8k miles and the fronts were feathered from the alignment being a little off. After rotation and alignment, they were noisy for about 300 to 400 miles, but have since died down. Until then, get used to the noise.

 

Tires problem. I had exactly same tires, they started to be loud around 30K and kept going worst.
I just got rid of them at 40K. I loved Falkens, they had great performance and price point just the noise was terrible. I did tire rotation every 5K and kept proper pressure.

 

Has anyone measure the tread depth?? From the pic they look well into the Yellow if not Red zone. Time for new rubber.

275/70r18 I have a 2.5 inch level in the front and longer rear shackles the raise the back a bit

 

I've never had Falken AT's but I had Falken's on a car once and the more miles I put on them, the louder they got.

 

i got the Falkens and they were surprisingly quite for the first couple years but now have recently begun to notice them getting louder. I wonder if the same is true for other brands as they wear as well?

Probably yes. But Falkens are so bad. They went from kind of ok to very loud in last 5000K.
I just got enough, they end up in garbage.
You can compare it to the new toyos at3 before install.
