2014 ,1794 sunroof

sunroof barely opens than needs a little help pushing it back to close ,,,,bad/weak motor possibly????

in my experience, electric motors don't get "weak". They work or they don't.

It's possible you have an electrical fault preventing the motor from getting proper voltage - perhaps a corroded connector or ground.

In non-toyota vehicles I have experienced poor window performance when debris or corrosion pinched the weather stripping and caused excessive load on the motors too - so perhaps start with a thorough clean and lube of the seals on both the glass side and the body side.
