I’m lookn to change my Third brake light for a smoked lens.. can I just tint it myself or can I buy just the lens for it.. ? I purchased these so I need to match them with a smoked third brake light...

Easiest route will be remove the cover and tint it yourself and maybe install some nice bright LEDs in there.

If you can do a wrap tint that probably best but you can buy spray tint, even plastidip makes some now.
A tinted cover would be really easy but haven't seen those.

Same thing happened to me. I was parked in having dinner with friends, came out to a broken tail light less than a month after buying it. Good excuse to get the tail lights I wanted LOL I went with the smoked lense winjets.

I tinted my third brake light with lamin-x film.

It's cheap, easy, and looks good IMHO.

The garage picture doesn't do it justice. The bright light and glare jacks it all up.

Lamin-X tinted film ("gunsmoke shade") and my Black Tundras.com decal blending in.....

    Nice! That is sick looking!

I have read it is a pain to change that 3rd brake light assembly out, which is another reason I went the route I did.

If you do it, let us know how it went.

I would look into getting a quality 3rd brake light if going aftermarket. The 08 I had for 2 months noticed that the aftermarket 3rd light the previous owner put on there the reverse bulbs are out and flickering. Just the brake led is working. Thought I could just replace the bulbs but the lenses cover doesn't have screws to remove so have to figure out how to get in there...
