Hey all, I have a 2012 Crewmax 4x4 with no lift. I currently have the BBS 20x9 with +50 offset running 304/50r20 street tires. I can fit a fingers width between upper control arm and the tire right now. I am looking to put 33x12.5x20 on it and can’t find any information. Does anyone have any experience with this? I currently have 1” wheel spacers and a 2” level kit (front only) on order just in case. Any information would be appreciated

Probably get a little rub on the skid plate? Easy fix. I’d say go for it!

I think it will depend on the specific tire. A lot of the newer tire designs have tread on the edges of the sidewall which will rub the UCA. And of course measurements vary by manufacturer.

Most people run spacers with 12.50s, but I have seen a few without.

You might be able to get away with it with the +50 offset, since most OEM wheels are +60.

+50 works gives you about 5/8 of an inch.

    Stock at the moment
Yeah, I gotta a 2010 Crewmax with stock 18's. I have 20" wheels I'm switching to soon and probably going with 33x12.5 20 with a 3/2 readylift. Will I be good or is there anything else I need? The tires while probably be Firestone Destination M/Ts.

I know very little about this stuff, I prefer stock, but setting it up for my son to have and doesn't want alot of lift.

    ***UPDATE***

I added 1” spacers with no level kit installed and put 33x12.5 Venom Terra Hunter XT. I have 1.5” of wheel clearance to UCA and no rubbing anywhere. Not on skid plate or fender well. I did remove the forward and aft mud flaps but have 1” clearance when turned so not so necessary. Tires were road force balanced but truck has a severe shake at 50mph. It did have a weird shimmy before that was never figured out by Toyota dealerships so I will just look past it. May try and remove wheel spacers for sh*ts and giggles.

You need hub centric spacers, if you got lug centric they notoriously wont balance.
