Did anyone else have issues when trying to apply 3m double sided tape to the under side of the glove compartment?

I have cleaned the area and with a wet paper towel then with an alcohol wipe.

Footwell light came off again today. Seeing it dangle in the corner of my eye is quite annoying.

Mine held long enough for me to get some zip ties installed to hold everything in place

Some adhesion promoter would help. 3M makes it in single use foam applicator wipe. 3M 06396

    Promoter slipped my mind!

After that I'll use zip ties as plan C.

    Thanks everyone!
