Just purchased a set of these off of crutchfield for my front door speakers. I didn’t notice that they are 3 ohm until after the order shipped. Crutchfield tech support said he can’t see any reason they wouldn’t work. I have stock non jbl amplified system with a KENWOOD dmx1057xr head unit. Looking to see if anyone has experienced any problem running a 3 ohm door speaker.

If the stock speakers were 2ohm these will not be as loud. My stock speakers were 2 ohm and I put some 4 ohm speakers in, ended up sending them back because of the low volume output. I finally just went ahead and spent the money and put an amp in that uses 4 ohm speakers and replaced all my speakers except the three on the dash.
    Sound is much better.

Installed today. Speaker sounds great. Tweeter is non existent though lol. Zero volume. Looks official though. Maybe later I’ll run a new amp for door speakers.
