669EA4FD-C5D4-4E19-AFCD-AB900911FFC8.jpg I apologize for the long post......
Just bought a new set of Morimotos 2stroke 3.0 which I was so excited about for my 2021 SR5 CM.
Once I installed them I noticed that the high beams are not working .
No matter how I set the lights liver to, the headlights are always in the low beam mode despite the blue HB indicator on the dash.
I took off the led bulbs and tested them directly on the battery.
Connected HB pins only —> works fine
Connect LB pins only —> works fine
Connect LB & HB at the same time (common ground) —> only LB comes on

When I checked the H4 harness on my truck I found that when high beams are on power is coming up on both low beam and high beam pins !?

Is there something wrong on my truck’s H4 harness or this is how Toyota Tundras headlights work ?
I always thought for the H4 bulbs only one beam is on at a time

I appreciate your feedback on this topic

I have the same issue with my OEM LED's + Headlight Revolution conversion kit, they've determined the conversion harness is not working properly and sent a new one.

I know its not the same thing, but since on mine the problem is a cable, then yours could be the same :)

damn that sucks. I debated getting the same Morimoto LEDs for my nissan pathfinder but ended going with the trusty VLEDS micro and been very happy with them

I have contacted HR support and was told my Tundra will need PWM/CANBUS module installed with the LED bulbs.
I’m waiting for the PWM modules to arrive so I can test them...
Will keep you posted with the outcome

Does your truck have factory fog lights? Some Trucks/cars that do not will light both HB & LB when HBs are on if no fog lights are installed. The same model vehicle will only light the HB when there are fog lights in place. I think it has something to do with DOT or NTSB regs regarding the number of factory installed lights that can illuminate at one time limited to 4. Though most models switch off fogs when HBs are on.
