Added under side step lights that activate when you unlock the doors or open them. I made the mounting brackets from aluminum and mounted them to the frame where there was holes already.

The lights are KC cyclones and will be added more of these as rock lights wired to my switch panel. They put out a great amount of light and help with locating the steps when getting in and out the Tundra.

I wired the lights into the trucks interior light located on the drivers foot well with a inline fuse for safety.

A cheap one from Ali express. It is a 38”. There is about an inch or two on each side so I think I could’ve fit a 40” and probably will change it out with a rough country as my ditch lights are RC and produce a lot of light. Added a screen shot of it.

Thanks. I like the NSV but they changed the dash panel on the 2020's.

Yeah I liked the NSV but the price is pretty ridiculous. I think I got the light bar and my switch panel from @Caliraisedled for less than $250 total.

Nice head unit! If you go blue 31 green 9 red 6 for the color setting for the buttons you can get it close to the stock blue color the dash lights up

So I know it’s a bit of a fools exercise but in the effort to squeeze any extra miles I can from a tank of gas especially when I’m pulling my camper my quest has turned to less rotational mass. I went from stocker off road wheels at 31.2 lbs per corner to SCS SR8’s at minus 3lbs per corner. I also took off my pig heavy Falken Wildpeak At3’s 275/70/18 at 61lbs per corner and swapped them for Toyo Open Country AT3 in the same size at 53lbs per corner. At a little more than 10 lbs x4 of rotational mass and still keeping a somewhat respectable off road profile... we’ll see how it goes.

Nothing wrong with doing this at all. I'm just wanting to know why looking for extra miles? Do you have the smaller tank? I dont doubt you'll get better mileage by those standards. I added about 50#s per corner I think when upped my tires and wheels' sizes and my mileage dropped about 3 or 4 mpg's on my 38 gallon tank. Didn't really change driving habits either. It'd be good to see some results after a couple weeks to see the difference and if you could squeeze even up to 50 miles more a tank

    Cool, Thank you.
I made the mistake of not changing the color theme for my center gauge cluster before I removed the OEM stereo. So it looks like I’m stuck with that. Haha oh well, diy problem.
