Nitto Trail Grapplers

Whats the consensus on Nitto Trail Grapplers. Thinking about putting a set of these on my new Tundra.

I think I can put 275/70R18 without doing anything to the truck. I've currently got 275/65R18's that came with the truck.

I bought a set of black TRD wheels to put some new tires on. The stock Tundra 18 wheels that come with the truck are just too plain.

 

Those will definitely look better on your truck then the stock steel wheels

Many threads on both topics but in general people seem to like the Nittos. That tire size should fit without any issues as well

 

The ones that came on my SR5 are the aluminum wheels with Bridgestone tires.

 

Well that's on me. I thought those were the steel ones... either way, big improvement visually

Mine are 275/55/20. Looking to get bigger soon

 

I have about 33,000 on my 275/70 trail grapplers. Sweet looking tire...but they have got loud over time

 

If your gonna look at Nittos, look at the Ridge Grapplers or the G2. I have the Ridge Grapplers and love them, aggressive appearance and quiet. Also there's a lot of members that have the new Cooper AT3 XLT, this will be my next tire.

 

Get the RG if anything. You should look at the St Maxx and St Pro as well.

 

Ridge Grapplers don’t stay quite for long. They progressively go to a good roar.

 

I have 35 " Trail Grapplers on 18" wheels, and I like them. They have a howl on the highway, and a rumble when you come to a stop, but hey; their MT s.

 

Good to know. I drive my Tundra mainly on the wknds , I'm sure it will get roaring in time. Crank up the radio
