I am trying to figure out the logistics to customize the dash planel on the passenger side. The one with the right hand vent built into it above the glove box.

Originally I wanted to have an injection mold of it done with "TRD Sport" stamped into it like the Tundra letters on the tailgate. I may still do this and reach out to AJT to see.

But my alternative idea is this (and I need input here). I was thinking of etching or routing out via a laser or some other cutting device a small channel outlining a TRD Sport logo into the plastic and filling it with a red or bronze epoxy. The problem is after going through Google, I cant seem to find any references of cutting an inlay in plastic (Process I'm referring to is called an inlay right?).

Buy some 3\16” closed cell foam. Glue it onto the panel. You can cut out whatever logo you want on that and then wrap the panel in vinyl or leather. It would give the look of the Tundra tattoo on your tailgate.

Just went down a very deep rabbit hole for electroluminescent sheets, el wire,, cnc machines, and luminor paint (Paint that lights up).

Crazy cool what some folks are doing.

Find a 3D printer who can make it locally for you.

You think someone can print the whole part?

Not to cut the plastic, but I thought if you inlay idea didn't work you could try an emboss effect. As for cutting the panel, you would have to find a good laser person who would take the chance at cutting your panel on the first run. You many be able to find aftermarket pieces or a pull apart piece so your laser person can mock and try before working on your actual piece. Good luck
