    Happy new year

$600 richer this morning than yesterday

Witnessed a hit and run in the Walmart parking lot, tried to get the lady to stop but she looked at me and speed away. She knew she hit the other car by the impact. Was a pretty good wallop and she now has a crashed in right rear bumper.
Was telling the employees at the door about it and asking if they could make a call when the lady that owns the hit truck walked up. I told her what happened and said she needs to call the police and file a hit and run report so Walmart can pull the video
She was very thankful. I asked if she wanted my contact info and she said no the video should be enough so I left.

Then on the way home I was blessed to the sight of 4 Deere running thru a field in the light mist.
Was a wonderful sight to see

off work for 3 days. Yes that’s awesome
Got chili going in the slow cooker

Now to decompress from the nightmare of holidays in retail and chill

    have a great day folks

Thanks but its the right thing to do. The lady should have stopped, I yelled at her and waved at her and she saw me and took off. Sad that people will do that. I hope she spends her days looking over her shoulder wondering if the cops are going to pull her over or knock on her door. She also has a damaged right rear bumper she will have to pay money to fix.
    Karma will get her.

Yep. Treasury elves are on the job. We got ours this morning as well.

Now, if our state and local governments can find their ***** with both hands, we might get the whole country vaccinated before the end of the 2021. :D

We got ours on Thursday. My daughter was pretty excited when I transferred her $600 to her savings account (she prefers to spend our money - smart girl).

Actually I have a thing for Ford 9n tractors. Used one for years cutting and bailing hay on a ranch I worked as a teenager. Lots of memories.

You should pay attention to current events before labeling another post dumb. Vaccination progress is below expectations across the country, and it's because state/local governments have been ineffective in their planning and execution after months of advance warning. This is about incompetence, not politics.

Phase 1B should be in progress in Texas now. Qualified individuals that contact state authorized providers are being told no vaccine is available even though state authorities have a map showing those same sites have vaccine. Anyone that thought vaccination of millions of people was going to happen without a hitch has never stood in line at the DMV.

I'm Phase 1A, have already refused it & no way in hell would I take that garbage. YOU should pay attention to the truth, not regurgitate what you're hearing down there in crazy town. I've been deeply involved w/this sham since February. Do some actual research instead of being a robot.

So, you've done your research. You're been down on the firehouse computer all day, three days a week, becoming an expert on mRNA vaccines, immunology, etc. Now you're refusing to take the vaccine because, what?...It's made from fetus stem cells?...The vaccines are a Chinese plot to kill us all by DNA poisioning? I've heard all that political weirdo crap from both sides. Go get fitted for a tin foil hat.

I'll get the vaccine as soon I can. But, I appreciate you deferring your dose for someone else that needs the protection.

Sorry, Rich, I apologize for pooping your thread. :( Even sarcastic humor related to 2020 goes sideways.

You did a great thing for that lady. It was rare demonstration of the original "Golden Rule", not that contemporary version.
