When I had KMC's on my 07, I saw KMC Monsters everywhere......ditched them due to the large hideous fake Frankenstein bolts.

 

They look very kuul but definitely will be somewhat hard to clean. Not even remotely a deal breaker though.

 

07? We didn’t even have IPhones then. I do remember those days. This KMC doesn’t seem too bad and it’s a 17 made for our bolt pattern. But then again so are the Icon wheels which weigh the same as the KMC. Icons are listed at 30lbs but that’s shipping weight. Icon said over the phone theirs are closer to 27lbs. Who knows.

 

Ya the Method 313 weight is the best. Cleaning them would be much easier also. And they are winning in the popular vote also. I’m just wanting to show the KMC in some more pictures since there aren’t a lot out there.

 

That KMC is nice. They don't have the large very noticeable chrome bolt heads that the Monsters had. The large bolt look was what made the Monsters sell, l guess...

I hate the fake beadlock bolts too.

I run KMC 542. Hub centric for my truck, discreet, light wheel. I hate bro wheels and bedazzled jeans.

 

I just flipped my vote to the Treks. I now think they would look pretty rad on 37s. I'm sure there are some non-abrasive wheel detailing goodies out there similar to a bottle brush that would help spiffy those Treks fairly easy. If I had them I'd make my almost 6 year old grandson do it anyways.

 

I will say, the KMCs are one of the few that look just as good when dirty.

It’s some form of a disease we have as men with our trucks. Or camo patterns. Or boots. Or bullet weights. Or bow selections. Or fishing line. Or socks. Or coffee. Or bourbons. Or cigars. Or tires. All in my well with Buffalo Bill, @Saltyhero13, @Squatting Pigeon and the Notre Dame and Clemson defensive coordinators.

 

No offense to anyone who likes those KMC wheels, but they look better dirty than clean because you can't see how damn ugly they are. The pic of them on the Ford... yuck!

The good news is, I see the light...those KMCs are neat, but too busy to hold onto for more than 6 months without getting blonde tips. The 313s look great on paper, but in application remind me of a hubcap or dumbed down version of similar styles. Those spikes are too thin. I’ve finally landed on the Icon Vector 5. No turning back...again...MY MINDS MADE UP dang it! Now, just gotta find the best deal. Any recs?
