Which light bar is that? I couldn’t get my 42 inch dual to fit. I heavily modded and cut the brackets and still couldn’t slide it in.

While upgrading tools is always nice, like @yodanadane mentioned using a cheater bar can probably get the job done you're looking to do with your current tool setup. Like others mentioned also spray the bolts with something similar to PB blast, maybe even soak em good the day before you plan to attempt. Give it time to work it's magic overnight and hit em again the next day a little before you attempt. If that don't work grab a cheater bar and put it over the bottom end of your ratchet. That should get you the extra leverage you need to break them free. You'll be surprised how good that cheater bar trick works. That little bit of extra leverage is almost magical. Then if all that fails you got your excuse to spend some coin on tool upgrades.

I would try those tricks to get it done asap, then keep your eyes open on the for sale sites. That way u get the job done now and still have the time it sometimes requires to steal a deal on a website for some awesome tools. Lot of people sell stuff they didn't need that they got as a gift for xmas. You can find some awesome deals right now on almost new or new tools at a nice discount.

Good luck hope this helps. Let us know how you make out with it.

Any piece of a scrap steel pipe should work. You can find that for free off a fence or similar. Plus believe it or not that's a tool you'll want to hold onto after this too lol.

Fit the 42inch Light Bar. Had to ditch the provided mounting hardware and make a trip to Home Depot. Grabbed some angle brackets and hardware and built my own install brackets. The bar sits little further in than I wanted, but I’m not going to get picky. Front end done

Waiting on Method to send me my rims (7 weeks back order already) then on to the suspension.

Yes, a 2" hole saw. It can be done on the truck, but I had my son helping me so we mocked it up on the truck but then took the tailpipe off to cut the hole. Not hard with two people, but I imagine it would not be fun by yourself trying to weave that pipe around to get it out of there. Plenty of room in there to do it on the truck if you want.

You can also hook a large box wrench over the end of the handle of the ratchet if you just need an extra foot or so of leverage. It also adds some angle to the setup that can sometimes help.

And yes, don't do it to a torque wrench...but you shouldn't be using a torque wrench to LOOSEN bolts anyway.
