S8, Squadron and S2 wiring

    Hello,

    Jut got my S8 in the mail today with the lighting harness (ebay). I want to get installing and there are next to no tutorials or diagrams that I have found online that would help.

    The wiring harness that I bought from eBay seems to look like it won't reach all the way to the switch location. It is 16G wire and I do have some 18G wire lying around is it possible to just solder this on and extend it if need be?

    The switch in the cab I am looking to install is this -

    It says I need to wire through a fuse relay. I am assuming that the S8 wiring harness has that in the box-like thing that is a plug on the harness.
