After replacing my Halogen lights with the TRD Pro LED's, one of the headlights is higher than the other. I've tried the phillips screwdriver method but it doesn't seem to work...I can see the housing gear turning and I hear it clicking when I turn it but i'm watching the beam of the headlight (25ft away on wall) and nothing is happening. I've seen videos on YouTube with folks using a 8mm wrench and turning the plastic fitting the wrench fits over but when I use the screwdriver, I can see the fitting for the wrench and it's not moving when I turn the screwdriver and I'm making sure the screwdriver is properly fitting into the slot because I can see the teeth of the screwdriver moving the adjustment gear but it just makes a clicking sound when I turn it and the beam doesn't move...any suggestions? Thanks

Are you sure the light that has the issue is seated/installed correctly? Are the LEDs new? Maybe one has a defect?

yes they are installed correctly...I tried adjusting the other light and got the same results...just clicking of the adjustment mechanism...no movement of the beam...didn't know if I was supposed to unplug the adjustment motor plug in the housing in order to do a manual adjustment with the screwdriver

OK....I found the solution to this problem myself...for me, to successfully adjust the headlight beam (up or down), while turning the phillips screwdriver, I had to PUSH IN on the white nylon 8mm plastic fitting to get ANY movement of the beam....and it takes ALOT of turns with the screwdriver to get the beam to move. Hope this helps someone in case they run into the same problem.
