I have been watching Landman's videos on YouTube to include his remote issues on his 2020 Tundra Pro. After taking the advice of one of his followers, he believes he found the issue.

    Check this out!

    Merry Christmas to all!

Dirty cheap electronics wreaks havoc on wireless systems. Thinking CFL and AM/FM radios. EMI shielding and testing is what makes some electronic type parts expensive. Going cheap is not the best route sometimes.

I thought that as well. I ordered a set from eBay some years back for my 2015. When I was parting out the 2015, I took all of my interior (2 exterior) LEDs blubs out and switch them with my 2021 basic bulbs. I haven't had any issues to include the remote use. Not sure if it is a specific LED bulb??

I've read about this a lot. I did the interior LEDs but chose not to do the cargo lights because of the interference issues a lot of people were having. Either way, I think I would have done a lot more research before taking it to the dealership 3 times. This information has been out there.

If I were him I'd be worried that Toyota sees this video and tries to recoup the money for the parts they replaced chasing down a problem caused by an aftermarket light bulb installed by the owner. Moss/Magneson won't protect him from that since he's admitting right on YouTube that an aftermarket part caused an issue with his truck, and Toyota footed the bill for it in good faith.
