I've yet to be in a situation where the cost of repair is too high, mostly because I usually do it myself. I'm curious how do you go about making an offer on cars like this? Does the service writer have to do it for you, or do you just talk to the customer on the side?

If there's anything there that puts your job in jeopardy pm me instead.

Nothing at all. Just talk to the writer unless the customer wants to come talk to me.

Well the frames been rough, but the impact on the driver side REALLY caused some nastiness to show itself

What I was trying to ask is what caused the damage. Did the LBJ fail or did he hit something?

LBJ failure. you can see in the cup of the LBJ housing how it was dry and eating the metal away

just because i still wish i had it, but i refuse to cut up my factory wiring.. I MAY look into trying to make a plug and play harness for remote start... should be easier on these trucks since (at least 05-06) have the bump start feature.. which means the wiring is closer to smart key style where no high amp wires are running to the ignition switch

2007 tundra has the same ignition switch connector.. will likely look into finding a plug and play kit for that truck and go from there.. diagram wise the wiring is not the same. but very similar

This bad boy is going on at 1130 ish. Local grass fed delicious beef; I even got a certificate, his name was Chester.

How long do you guys run your Toyota oem filters? I've got 5,800 on mine, a lot highway miles. Its getting cold and im used to changing my Camry's conventional oil every 3,000. But im running pp. Im kinda broke rn and wondering I could bring it to 6,000-6500. I see guys on here say they could have went to 10,000 or even 14,000 with the Blackstone lab analysis. Just wondering since the temps are getting down there.
