Found out last night that my MIL and 2 grandkids are coming tomorrow. A small batch of collards to go with ham, cornbread and apple pie.

We’re planning big for Friday. Looking forward to posting and seeing others.
    Right now I’m thinking maybe;
    Cranberry sauce
    Lamb roast
    Jalopeno mint jelly
    Apple cobbler (our tree)
    Potatoes (garden)
    Ham
    Green beans (garden)
    Home baked sourdough bread
Wild mushroom gravy (boletes and chanterelle we have found)
    Not really sure yet

I made a shitload of desserts to pass out to the neighbors. Sugar cookies with white chocolate chips in them, double chocolate chip (white & milk) cookies, Peppermint bark brownie cookies, regular peppermint bark, and mini chocolate chip bourbon pecan pies. My wife made a fudge. Also made a regular size chocolate chips bourbon pecan pie for my stepdaughter's boyfriends family. It was a busy baking day...
I made too much though - I wish some of you Tundra folk were nearby so I could hook you up. At this point, I'm going to have to open up a stand out front and pass them out. Way too much.

Since it will just be the two of us this year (and our daughter, who's still just on milk), my vegetarian wife decided we needed a tofurky that came with stuffing that I'm sure will be even worse than stovetop stuffing and something they're trying to pass off as gravy. So I'm pretty envious of all you guys right now. :puke:

If you get a chance, sneak down to Texas and I'll hook you up. Just tell your wife you are going to shovel the driveway or something and cruise on down.

We pretty much do Thanksgiving over again with a 22lb turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy.

Beef roast (just a Rump) for us tomorrow on Christmas Eve and a 10lb bone in ham on Christmas day.

No turkey this year. Code Red lockdown, so no family gatherings or visits or need for a giant turkey. Ham will go on Ceramic cooker with a bourbon and walnut type glaze that I'll whip up and a few basic sides.

    Meat, Meat and more Meat!

What time’s dinner Ray? I think maybe you need to have Rosy come down. :D

I’ve got a beef rump roast that’ll go on the pellet grill tomorrow for Christmas Eve with my wife’s side of the family, along with green bean casserole, potatoes, salad, and Angel food cake that my wife is working on right now.

Christmas Day will be brunch with my daughter’s boyfriend’s family (they’re living in an RV while their house is being built) - doing a ham and cinnamon rolls and omelettes. Then heading over to more in-laws for the afternoon, but at that all I’ve got to do is show up and carve the meat. My wife is thinking she’ll bring a key lime pie for that one.

I'm making about 15.8 kts. aboard ship while transiting the Strait of Bab el Mandeb between Somalia and Dijibouti on my way back from the Persian Gulf. On enhanced security watch for these pirate infested waters. Merry Christmas to everyone, enjoy your families and your meals. I'll be home soon to celebrate with mine.

Rotisserie rump roast on NG, served with sauteed peppers, onions and homemade au jus. Made it into a deli stacker on some store bought artisan bread.
