I may be dumb or overthinking this but...

I've got some .5 inch CB shims (~1" lift) sitting on the shelf to add to my 6112's. I am waiting for my Victory Stealth bumper and was going to put everything on at once and have it aligned after the fact. But I get bored on the weekends and wouldnt mind throwing on the shims first, have it aligned and putting on the bumper when it arrives.

The bumper weighs 120 lbs or so. Not sure if this would make any difference with the extra weight on the front end where the suspensions sits or if its minuscule. So...

    A) Wait and do it all together

    B) Add shims, align and assume everything will still fall within specs

Patience is a virtue that not all (me) posses.

My final setup will be: 6112's at 1.9" with CB .5" shim (estimated 2.5"s of lift) and .75 inch Trail Gear shackles (installed) w/ 5100's. If the rear ends up sitting low I plan to add some .5inch steel leaf spring shims.

I'm no expert but I wouldn't think you'd need an alignment after adding a bumper.
In my mind that's really no different than riding with a passenger and without.
I guess the weight being out over the front of the truck could be different, but I can't really see how it would affect the alignment.
Maybe if you were putting +500lbs out there then it would compress the suspension enough to change your geometry, but 120lbs probably doesn't do much in that regards.

Maybe someone else with experience in this will chime in with some firsthand knowledge.
