    Hey guys,

Just curious how long do you guys let your car/engine run during the initial cold start?

And also I read it's good to let your car run for at least 15 seconds when it's not a cold start.

    Thank you in advance!

-25c cold, at least 5 min. -5c cold, only a minute or so
Or as long as it takes to clear off the snow and defrost the windshield

I let mine run for maybe a minute while the garage door is opening. When I’m at work and the truck is actually cold I’ll let it idle for 5-10 minutes. That’s when it’s anywhere from 30F and below in winter months.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
Well in central Texas where we don't see much below 30, if at all, I'd say 15 seconds or more but it's not because I'm waiting or following some advice, I just fire the engine first, then do all the seatbelt, seat adjustments, connect phone, select music, Now I'm Ready!

depends on the weather, 5 min or so unless it is hot or cold, then 5-10 min to get the cab comfortable....with remote start

usually i try to warm it up for a couple mins...anything longer is a waste of gas. we run 0-20 which doesnt require much to start flowing.
