Those are passive crossovers for the three way component set.

OK. That's better than mounting them in the door. I'll remember that when I do my system in 2021.

Looks great, Brian. Where did you build it to go? I'm having a hard time figuring that out by looking at it. I am currently in the process of building my audio system so looking for ideas/suggestions.

Are those redundant fuse blocks? I remember someone making a big deal about the fuses being as close to the battery as possible. Not sure how much of a difference this makes in reality. Looks great!

The fuse block you see at the amps hold the fuses for each amp. Jl audios amps are not fused. There is a inline fuse 12” from the battery to protect the 4 AWG wire feeding the amps.

Where did you ground under the passenger seat? Having some noise issues in my system so I'm curious.

I was reading that fastening grounds under seats, even if you grind any paint off location, isn t the best place to ground, (which is how I was going to do it). It said a chassis ground is better, and reduces potential problems.

I grounded the amps at the factory ground connection just under the carpet in front of the opening provide for the stock harnesses to run out. Works like a champ, 0 noise.

It s odd that some systems respond badly to small things, and others dont. Looking at your wire routing I would nt be suprised if you had noise, but if you don t then that s great. I have to run my rca s away from my power wires. Got to keep em seperated.

Unfortunately I do not. I took the seat out and did some quick measuring. Then transferred those measurements to a piece of cardboard, cut it out and test fitted. Once I had it right I traced it to the abs and cut it out.
