Appreciate the opportunity to get advise.

Want the cool look of a lift, 3in max but also light off road ( dirt, mud holes) and possible deep snow (ski country, upstate unplowed roads). Have 275/65 18 Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus...should I upgrade/upsize with the lift.

I have the same goals as you. When the time is right I’m going with the Toytec setup. It seems to be a very reliable, all purpose type of lift.
