2021 VooDoo Blue Tundra

Ok I just bought a ‘21 tundra Crewmax SR5. I have my iPhone 10 connected to the vehicle but my phone goes silent and doesn’t notify me of messages or anything unless it’s plugged in and connected for apple car play. It also does not have the standard map on the screen. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
